Challenge Through the implementation of an affiliate scheme (which allowed partners to use duplicate content) our client had unwittingly penalized their website and dropped out of the search results. Our client needed to establish an online presence which would reflect their status as market leader... and deliver new business.
Solution Back at 'square one' we were keen to avoid falling foul of the search engines again and agreed to stick to 'white hat' optimization techniques. Fresh editorial content targeted competitive keywords, the site was redesigned to improve user confidence and we began an integrated PR and link-building campaign.
Results We have taken our client's website from the bottom of the search results to the very top of Google , Yahoo! and MSN . Online mortgage quotations are up by 750% a month and our client is enjoying the buzz that the new traffic brings. Our close working relationship continues to thrive and a number of new collaborative projects are in discussion.
